INTODUCTION
In this work I’ll introduce you my priorities for the next Millenium and I’ll try to explain why those are more important then all other problems. So, I think that the followings are the most important and the most actual problems in our future life:
PROBLEMS OF ECOLOGY
On my opinion ecological problems are the most important problems nowadays and they’ll be such during the next Millenium. And here are my arguments for it:
First of all it is a common knowledge that we are a part of environment and the population of Earth may exist only in favorable conditions. It is proved by scientists that humanity must be more attentive to the problems of ecology or it my lead to a great catastrophe.
Ozone halls, global warming, Chernobyl – all these things won’t be solved in our century but they are the first to be solved in the next Millenium because now we have to protect our atmosphere which is the skin of our planet. Now it is proved that because of the bad atmosphere lots of people are dyeing from cancers and asthma. Now ecological situation on the Earth is terrible and it is very scaring. Our plants are polluting our air and water; our
furniture is made from wood, our coats - from fur of rare animals… And all this things already have the results. For
example in Mexica, in some cities people were forced to wear special bandages upon their faces in order to breathe normal air. Is it right? Is it what we want for us and for our children in the next Millenium? I think that no, and that is the reason why ecological problem must be solved in the first turn. For the sake of human’s life, for the sake of life of every one of us…

PROBLEMS OF USING NUCLEAR WEAPON
My second priority is the problem of using nuclear weapon, by this I mean problem of peace and disarmament.
USA, Russia, England, France, China and it is still not the full list of countries that have nuclear weapon. And now let’s think about 1st and 2nd World Wars, about Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo in all this conflicts at least one of those countries took part. And every next war may be the last for the humanity. And if we won’t take fast measures in order to render the harmless of the nuclear weapon all the following problems, priorities, ideas, actions and dreams will have no sense because there’ll be no
people to solve, to do, to think about them…
EVERY NEXT WAR MAY BE THE LAST FOR US…
PROBLEM OF CANCER AND AIDS
The third one is the problem of cancer and AIDS. These two are the most terrible illnesses nowadays and still there is no cure from them. Thousands of people are dyeing because of these plagues of the 20th century.
Now people can’t afford health care, the solution that I can propose is relocating people to places where there are better sanitation facilities or where they can be build at least it is better then overcrowded shanty towns. Also people in rural areas don’t have access to proper service and information and that is why we must build more health clinics in rural areas.
What about AIDS it is one of the biggest problems in the world and in most countries it seems that mainly young people are getting affected. But what must we do? First of all the prevention is better then cure and that is why everyone needs to be actively involved in AIDS education. And we must find the cure because more and more people are falling ill and if scientists, doctors, all other people won’t work harder we have one more problem, a problem of ill and weak generation.
THE POPULATION OF EARTH IS
5 MILLIARD, 18 MILLION ARE ALREDY ILL, WE MUST DO SOMETING!!!!!!
POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER LIFE IN OUR GALAXY
The next priority is possibility of another life in our Galaxy. First of all it is very important because during all its history the humanity was going on the way of knowledge, knowledge about our world, about environment, etc. There is a possibility that only starting with the next Millenium it’ll be possible to explore and to know more about our Galaxy, our Universe. And who knows, maybe myths about UFO will become true?

SOLVING HUMANITARISTIC PROBLEMS IN AFRICA AND SOUTH-EASTERN ASIA
The previous problem is very close to this one because it is proved by scientists that AIDS is an illness from the African Continent. Lots of epidemics came from here and if developed countries won’t help some Asian and African states it may lead to a great disease. Poverty, starving, ecological problems, AIDS, problems of population – all these things are the present of people in Africa and South-Eastern Asia. The main principle of international diplomacy is mutual aid so let’s help those who are weaker then we are.
SEARCHING OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES
In the next Millenium the searching of alternative energy sources will be very actual. We’ve already had Chernobyl. Lot’s of countries were involved in this catastrophe and now we need another more secure energy. Also the quantity of traditional energy sources on the Earth is limited. Then with burning such a traditional energy sources as oil, gas and coal a great amount of pollution is exploded in the atmosphere. Also a free space that was left after taking out traditional energy sources may lead to earthquakes or even to the erosion of Earth. Lot’s of countries don’t have their own energy sources in order not to depend on countries which export oil and gas they must find alternative energy sources.
WE NEED ANOTHER, MORE SECURE ENERGY
PROBLEM OF INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM
Why problem of international terrorism is very important now? Because nowadays international diplomacy have gained a high level of development which lead to an international integration. But these positive tendencies led after itself widening of zone of action of international terrorism. Nowadays this problem is very dangerous because of nuclear and chemical weapon. And if we want to preserve peace and harmony in our world we must pay more attention to this problem.
IT IS OUR PRESENT… WE MUST SOLVE THIS PROBLEM NOW, OR IT’LL BE OUR FUTURE…
PROBLEM OF POPULATION
And now the problem of population. This problem exists because nowadays in low-developed countries demographic explosions took place. Because of great birth poverty and epidemics are here. At the same time in high-developed countries the populations of old people is much more then the population of young ones and it may lead to the extinction of a whole nation. And the government of those states must balance these two indicators together; I mean birth and death. Because such problems will continue to grow until we take steps to correct and prevent them.
YOU SEE WE ARE IN MINORITY…
PROBLEM OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL
And the last one is problem of drugs and alcohol. I’ve put it on the last position because this priority comes from the previous ones. Ecological situation, problems of population, problem of international terrorism, cancer and AIDS all these things influence on the people and sometimes may push a person to make a wrong step, step on the way of alcoholism and drug addition. Drugs and alcohol destroys the spirit of many people and if we won’t help them we pay for it in the next generation…
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS DESTROYS THE SPIRIT OF MANY PEOPLE, AND IF WE WON’T HELP THEM WE PAY FOR IT IN THE NEXT GENERATION…
CONCLUSION
So, first of all we must solve problems that already exist and if those priorities will be considered the main for the next Millenium we reach peace and harmony in our world.
